You will work on transistor-level design for SRAM arrays/caches, register files, and/or custom standard cells. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams including logic, DFT, and PD to translate system requirements into robust, manufacturable designs.\n\nWhat you’ll achieve:\nDevelop schematic and layout designs for advanced memory arrays\nConduct bitcell analysis to ensure robust performance\nAnalyze and balance area, power, and performance trade-offs in array design\nPerform EMIR analysis to assess signal integrity and power grid robustness\nExecute equivalence checking between SPICE and behavioral models\nCarry out circuit robustness checks and timing model generation/verification\nHardware validation efforts to bring designs from simulation to silicon\n\nAbout you:\n\nGood understanding of VLSI circuits, design methodology, and device/electrical fundamentals\n\nExperience using EDA tool flows for simulation, verification, and characterization\n\nFamiliarity with design-for-test (DFT) concepts and their impact on circuit design\n\nAbility to work independently on defined deliverables while also collaborating effectively with other teams\n\nAbility to program in Python, Perl, or TCL\n\nElectrical or Computer Engineering - Bachelor’s degree & 5 years of related experience; or MS degree & 3 years; or PhD & no prior experience\n\nWhat we’ll offer:\nAt Ampere we believe in taking care of our employees and providing a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, cash long-term incentive, and comprehensive benefits.
