Human Resources GeneralistEnsure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.This is a temporary-to-hire, full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8 am-5 pm. $30.00 to $35.00The HR Generalist supports HR functions by handling essential administrative duties within the HR department. In this position, the HR Generalist will focus on recruitment, record keeping, and ensuring effective management of employee-related tasks. Working closely with the HR manager, they may organize paperwork, assist with payroll, and respond to inquiries. Job Responsibilities:Inform job applicants of their acceptance or rejection of employment.Select applicants meeting specified job requirements and refer them to hiring personnel.Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.Request information from background checks, previous employers, and other references to determine applicants' employment acceptability.Administer and score applicant and employee aptitude, personality, and interest assessment instruments.Prepare badges, passes, and identification cards, and perform other security-related duties.Arrange for in-house and external training activities.Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.Assist in administering employee benefit programs and workers' compensation plans.Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.Prepare and set up for new employee orientations.Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.Assist in processing payroll and preparing payroll reports.Qualifications:5-10 Years of experience in Human Resources rolesProficiency in HR software, basic MS Word, Excel, and OutlookKnowledge of labor laws, employment standards, and workplace complianceBilingual Spanish RequiredStrong organizational and time-management abilities for handling multiple HR functionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with various departments and employeesAttention to detail with strong data entry skills for maintaining organized, accurate recordsProblem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt to changing HR needs and demandsHiring Requirements:Must be 18+ Years OldMust be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background CheckMust be Willing to Submit to a Drug ScreenMust be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.Company DescriptionAs the proud owner and Strategic-Partner of the PrideStaff Ontario office, my goal is to help businesses in my territory and talented job seekers reach their personal and professional goals.
