Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $115,000 per year. Job Description:Prepare periodic general journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure an accurate and timely financial close.Communicate effectively and escalate issues to appropriate Accounting leaders promptly.Collaborate closely with the Accounting Team and report directly to the Accounting Manager.Review leases, enter lease information into software systems, and ensure proper accounting for lease agreements.Assist with special projects, including system enhancements and establishing new account reconciliations.Support annual audits by gathering necessary documentation and preparing audit schedules.Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Maintain compliance with GAAP.Requirements:Strong knowledge of GAAP, including cost of sales, lease accounting, prepaids, and liabilities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities.Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.Active CPA license required.3-7 years of accounting experience in public or private companies.1-2 years of public accounting experience preferred.REF #48466#LI-POST
