This role goes beyond basic test script recording and requires strong software development skills, particularly in C# and the .NET ecosystem.The SDET will use Playwright to create modern end-to-end test suites and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. The role works closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to identify high-risk areas, define automation coverage, troubleshoot defects, and continuously improve QA processes.## Key Responsibilities* Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using C# and Playwright.* Build and maintain end-to-end automated test suites for web applications.* Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify high-risk areas and define appropriate automation coverage.* Test web applications and RESTful APIs.* Integrate automated test suites into Azure pipelines to support continuous testing and shift-left practices.* Participate in pull request reviews for application and test code.* Apply SOLID principles and clean code standards to test automation.* Perform root cause analysis of flaky tests and production defects.* Prepare detailed technical reports and testing metrics for stakeholders.* Communicate QA status, progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement to management.* Advise teams on project status and potential process improvements.* Find cost-effective solutions to improve monthly QA efforts.* Troubleshoot problems in unfamiliar situations and provide effective recommendations.* Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.* Work independently and make logical business decisions with general guidance.* Consolidate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional working groups.* Communicate effectively with management, customers, vendors, and business partners.* Follow all applicable HIPAA obligations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).* Report discovered HIPAA violations to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources.* Complete required HIPAA training and demonstrate competency.* Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.## Required Qualifications* 3–6 years of software quality assurance experience as an SDET.* 3–5 years of professional experience in software testing or development.* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.* Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Core/6+ ecosystem.* Proven experience with Playwright or Selenium for cross-browser testing.* Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as RestSharp or Playwright's native API testing capabilities.* Ability to write SQL queries for data integrity validation and test data setup.* Expert knowledge of Git, including branching, merging, and rebasing.* Experience with Snowflake.* Experience with Microsoft Teams.* Experience with flowchart tools such as Lucidchart.* Understanding and some experience with Figma.* Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.* Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.## Preferred Qualifications* Industry certification in QA or software testing, such as ISTQB.* Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.* 4 years of software engineering experience in a healthcare finance setting.* Direct experience in the healthcare finance field, especially in the management of self-funded [source text ends here].## Work Arrangement* Remote* Dallas, Texas, United States* Full-time* Salaried / Exempt* Core availability: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT* Work schedules may need to accommodate meetings across all U.S. time zones.* Extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be required based on industry demands.* Minimal travel required.* No direct supervisory responsibilities.## Benefits* Medical, dental, and vision insurance* Disability and life insurance* Employee Assistance Program* Remote work options* Generous paid time off* Annual reviews and development plans* Retirement plan with company match, immediately 100% vested## ComplianceThis position requires adherence to HIPAA requirements related to Protected Health Information (PHI).
