With the training we provide, our associates help Arnold to keep that standing.JOB SUMMARY:Candidate is responsible to work with customers to create parts, labor, and equipment sales opportunities for Arnold while assisting customers with more efficient and cost effective operating conditions. Share information within the Material Handling Division that will assist in keeping all customers equipment in excellent operating and productive condition. Be a mentor and trainer for the next generation of Technicians.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Acting as a liaison between the customer and dealershipPromoting and ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting with the enhancement of labor and parts salesWriting up, monitoring, reviewing and assisting of job closing as needed by Service Writer(s)Cold call potential new customersMaintain two-way communication between the customers and the Service Department on current status of work-in-progressOversees approvals, estimates, quotes, or flat rate proposals, including promised start and completion dates to the customer taken by the Service Writer(s).Review the work schedule daily with the Service Writer(s) to update work-in-progress (WIP) priorities, segments, parts deliveries and completion deadlines. Assist in detecting and managing work orders that will be higher than estimated/quotedCompile data for reports and special projects as needed KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to demonstrate effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Ability to operate a computer and comprehend various software programs.Skilled at, or willing to learn, performance management, negotiation, leadership, problem solving and motivationAbility to manage under stress with Silver Service attitude.Ability to plan, organize and prioritize assignments in order to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and detail.Knowledgeable about repair requirements and inventory linesAbility to provide adequate training opportunities for self and staffWilling to learn about marketing and acquiring new business.Manage his/her time to create the maximum of customer face time.
