About the ClientOur client is seeking an Application Analyst to support the pilot and phased rollout of a newly implemented POS system for across approximately 100+ West Coast retail stores.About the RoleThis is a hands-on technical support role focused on POS issue triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and rollout stabilization. The environment has limited documentation, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable investigating logs, diagnosing application and hardware issues, and partnering closely with store operations, field support, and internal technical teams.ResponsibilitiesSupport the pilot and phased rollout of a new POS system across 100+ retail storesTriage POS incidents and operational issues during rollout wavesAnalyze application and system logs to determine root causeTroubleshoot POS software, hardware, and peripheral integration issuesPartner with store teams, internal support teams, field teams, and operationsProvide stabilization support during rollout phasesDocument recurring issues, findings, and resolution stepsParticipate in an on-call rotation approximately 1 week every 4 weeksQualificationsThe ideal candidate has 3–7+ years of experience supporting retail POS systems or similar application environments. They should be technically strong, comfortable working onsite, able to troubleshoot independently, and experienced supporting fast-moving retail technology rollouts.
