Registered Nurse (RN) - IV Specialist

You may work inside or outside the hospital setting, depending on each individual referral, providing you with a unique career opportunity to observe different treatment protocols and patient challenges. IV Specialists are a part of our profit pool-so your contributions directly share in the success you help create.As an VTP IV Specialist you will:Place peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidanceTroubleshoot vascular access devices (PIVs, PICCs, and CVCs)Perform PICC and midline maintenance and careAssist with declotting of vascular access linesSupport infusion therapy-related needsTroubleshoot IV pumps and access-related issuesEducate clinical staff on IV and vascular access device care and useSchedulingNurses in this role visit patients across various customer facilities and must be willing to travel as needed. They are expected to meet scheduling requirements based on business needs. This is a full-time position with a 4/3 split schedule, consisting of three to four days per week and 12-hour shifts, with shift options of 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM or 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
