This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nResponsible for assigning work projects to toolroom personnel.\nSchedule projects in departments in accordance to due dates.\nAssist as needed to estimate and prepare quotes for new tooling and various machining projects.\nAttend project startup meetings and lead discussions on mold manufacture.\nRecord and document manufacturing procedures for projects to act as work instructions for the toolroom department.\nAssist all toolroom personnel in daily work assignments and make decisions on proper procedures to follow.\nAssist in coordinating work with outside vendors as needed.\nTroubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions.\nTrain, mentor and evaluate tool room personnel.\nManage tool room supplies, ordering and vendor coordination.\nOther Functions\n\nApprove employees’ weekly hours for payroll.\nApprove employees’ vacation requests.\nMaintain a clean and safe work area.\nPerform other tasks as assigned.\nKey Competencies\n\nMust be able to evaluate tooling and make recommendations on how to repair.\nLeadership and team management.\nAbility to multitask several projects and plan daily work schedules.\nWork independently with minimum supervision.\nCoordinate with other departments in planning projects.\nQualifications (skills, knowledge, experience)\n\nAssociate degree or Tool and Die Journeyman card.\nMinimum of 7 years injection mold building experience.\nAbility to use CAD software to review part and mold designs.\nThorough understanding of the following machining processes: CNC milling, wire and sinker edm, surface grinding and mold assembly.\nDemonstrated knowledge on use of precision tools.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to use Microsoft software\nBy applying for a position with HellermannTyton, you understand that should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check through the use of our 3rd party supplier.
