Review patient histories, assess physician orders, apply appropriate imaging protocols, and document required information in the electronic medical record.\nCommunicate clearly and effectively with patients regarding procedures and instructions to promote understanding, ease concerns, and encourage cooperation.\nFoster positive relationships with patients and colleagues by demonstrating compassion, professionalism, dignity, and respect while working collaboratively to support efficient patient care.\nEnsure all examinations are accurately coded and tracked through the RIS system, properly transmitted to iSite for interpretation and archiving, and billed appropriately according to departmental procedures.\nGraduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program.\nARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT registry within 6 months of hire date.\nCT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired or date of hire if primary registry is already obtained.\n\nCNMT graduates must obtain CNMT registry within 6months of hire date.\n\nWeekend Program Eligibility:\n\nEligible participants must have a performance rating of Solid/Strong/Good to enter the program, and a Solid/Strong/Good rating to remain in the program.\nMinimum of six months of experience required.\nIf a participant resigns or is removed from the program for not meeting weekend guidelines, he/she is not permitted to return to the program for one calendar year. To be eligible after waiting out a year, the participant must meet all the criteria set forth herein.\nIf a participant does not meet the minimum weekend program hour requirements, his/her participation will be evaluated for removal from the program.\nProgram compliance is assessed quarterly. If you do not meet the requirements at any point during or at the end of the end of the quarter, you may be removed from the program.\nLicensure, Certifications, and Clearances:\nARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT registry within 6 months of hire date. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.If practicing under a temporary permit: cannot administer IV contrast or participate in contrast-enhanced CT requiring IV administration duties, must be under direct supervision of licensed radiologic technologist, must obtain ARRT certification within 180 days of permit issue date.
