Resort Restaurant Host/Hostess
Job Purpose
Greets and seats restaurant guests and takes telephone food orders
Job Duties and Responsibilities
(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)
Provides guests with service by taking food orders over the phone, relaying food order to servers, acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the restaurant, documenting guest count, alerting servers and guests when table is available, seating guests, and responding to guest requests. - 75%
Promotes guest relations by answering guest questions, providing menu information, explaining the guest seating program when applicable, giving any needed assistance, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner. - 15%
Maintains safe and sanitary dining areas by cleaning surfaces, picking up used plates, cups and utensils, disposing of trash, wiping down tables, and resetting tables following established procedures. - 5%
Ensures work stations are stocked and clean by rolling silverware, folding napkins, setting tables, and cleaning Host/Hostess stations according to established procedures. - 5%

Current Food Handlers Card

Guest or Hospitality service experience
Restaurant Host/Hostess experience
Restaurant server experience
