System AdministratorThe primary role of the System Administrator is to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and LINUX systems. You'll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment.Position ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.Configure and manage Linux and Windows systems.Support vulnerability management using Nessus.Maintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters.Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback.Basic QualificationsComptia Security+ or equivalent DoD/DoW 8570/8140 certificationMinimum 7+ years of system administration experienceStrong RedHat Linux and Windows troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with Nessus, POA&Ms, and NIST requirementsExperience configuring LINUX and Windows environmentsAn active TS/SCI DoD clearanceOther Qualifications & Desired CompetenciesBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, and experienceExperience with virtual environments and system capacity planningClearance LevelTS/SCIThe salary range for this role is:$85,500 - $121,275AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.ITAR Requirement:This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and/or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR").
