Summer Internship – Connected Driving World Models

Roles and Responsibilities:Our client is seeking a PhD student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline to work on Connected Driving World Models.What you’ll be doingDevelop and evaluate AI World Models for connected and automated driving systemsExplore generative and latent-space models (e.g., diffusion, VAE-style world models)Conduct experiments in simulations and/or logged real world driving dataRequired Qualifications:Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with a focus on AI / machine learningStrong background in Machine Learning and Deep LearningExperience with simulation platforms such as CARLAProficient programming skills in Python and common libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Pytorch, etc.) Ability to engage in general research activities such as defining problems and issues to be addressed, finding, and using research data, and being able to make recommendations and findings in writing and presentations.THIS IS A SUMMER INTERNSHIP ONLYPAYRATE TO THE CANDIDATE must be $57.20 for PhD program or $45.10 for MS Program. Also a One Time $2000.00 Relocation stipend is available to students that reside over 50 Miles from the Mountain View site that would need to relocate to the area
