Your primary objective is to help drive innovation by developing new products and refining existing ones, ensuring continuous improvement across all brands.\n\nIN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:\nDraft testing procedures and guidelines.\nCreate and validate testing programs using MasterCam and NX.\nProcures quotes for fixturing, machine parts, and in-house tooling.\nUtilizes Tool Studio and VG Pro to design and grind tooling.\nCreates visually compelling demo parts to showcase product features and performance.\nOversee project timeline to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.\nSchedule post-test inspection of materials and tooling, utilizing advanced tools such as CMM’s, 3D tool scanners, and hardness testers.\nInspect tools to identify wear characteristics to understand tool life (Alicona & Flex Bar)\nDraft detailed technical reports to present findings and identify areas for improvement.\nWork with Maintenance department to ensure machine upkeep and schedule external maintenance if required.\nEnsure lab cleanliness and organization.\nMaintains a current tooling and machining knowledge base through literature, field visits, tradeshows, and more.\n\nYOU'LL BRING:\nBSME with 1 year of relevant experience, or technical degree with 3 years of relevant experience preferred.\n1+ years of CAM (MasterCAM/NX) experience preferred.\n1+ years of Tool Grinding & Grinding CAM (ToolStudio/VGPro) experience preferred.\n1+ years of CNC milling (Okuma/HAAS controller) experience preferred.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.\n\nWHERE YOU'LL WORK:\nOur state-of-the-art facility is located in the charming town of Gorham, ME, known for its natural beauty and friendly community.
