CFC Behavior Specialist
CFC Behavior SpecialistUCP Seguin of Greater Chicago is seeking a compassionate and skilled CFC Behavior Specialist to support children with behavioral and emotional needs in foster homes and community-based settings. This position focuses on implementing effective behavior interventions that promote safety, stability, and positive outcomes while ensuring compliance with DCFS standards.Key responsibilities include:Assess behavioral needs and develop individualized behavior plansImplement and monitor behavior interventions and crisis responseCoach and support foster families and staff in behavior strategiesParticipate in psychiatric medication reviews and monitoringMaintain accurate documentation, data collection, and reportsProvide on-call crisis support as neededQualifications (required):Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related human services fieldMinimum 1 year of experience in behavior analysis21 years of age or olderValid Illinois Driver's License with proof of insuranceAbility to obtain DCFS CERAP and 402 Licensure within 6 monthsAbility to obtain First Aid, CPR, and CPI certification within 30 daysStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to safely perform physical interventions during behavioral crisesSchedule & environment:Full-time, primarily Monday–Friday with flexibilityOn-call availability requiredOffice, home, and community settings
