This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift.CNC Operator/Programmer Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM softwareInterpret CAD drawings, templates, and project specifications to create accurate tool pathsSet up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines for custom stone cutting and finishingSelect appropriate tools, feeds, and speeds for different stone types and thicknessesMonitor the machining process and adjust programs or machine settings to ensure quality and precisionInspect fabricated stone pieces for accuracy, finish, and alignment using measuring toolsPerform routine maintenance on CNC machinesMaterial handling including operating a forklift and overhead crane to load and unload stone materials onto machinesMaintain documentation of programs and setup instructions for repeat jobsWork closely with the production team to meet deadlines and resolve fabrication challengesFollow all safety protocols, especially when handling heavy stone materials and operating machines and equipmentCNC Operator/Programmer Requirements:3+ years of experience in CNC machine programming and operationProficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprintsStrong knowledge of tooling, setup procedures, and machining processesBasic math skills for measurements and calculationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlinesMust adhere to all safety guidelines and protocolsQps Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
