Aurora Technologies, Inc. is a custom machine shop leading the industry in thermosets and thermoplastics.\nWe are seeking a skilled material handler to work at our ATI Headquarters facility located in Pacific, MO.\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: Depending on Experience ($19/hr. and up)\nSchedule:\n1st Shift is from 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday.\nOvertime and weekend work may be required or asked as job duties demand.\n\nJob Description:\nSafely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport raw materials to operators and back to the warehouse.\nSafely and efficiently unload incoming materials from trucks.\nSafely and efficiently load outgoing materials to trucks.\nAssist in miscellaneous operations that require use of a forklift.\nKeep warehouse clean and organized.\nHelp maintain tractability with regards to LIN’s.\nReport damaged material to appropriate personnel prior to signing BOL.\nOther duties as directed by supervisor/manager.\nRequired Knowledge and Skills:\nUnderstanding of organization flow chart within the company\nUnderstanding of how to work well with a team in an unsupervised manner\nAdvanced knowledge of forklift operation and forklift safety\nAbility to understand and complete basic mathematics\nAbility to deal with problems and make decisions\nUnderstanding of production needs, including plant layout; must be able to plan the movement of materials to several different production areas\nAbility to read and understand job travelers and pick lists\nAdvanced understanding of Material Identification, Measurement & Blueprint Reading\nMinimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to independently lift up to 60 lbs.\nAbility to sit, stand, or walk for up to eight hours\nRequires frequent bending, squatting, and stepping up and down from a forklift\nAbility to sit and operate a motorized vehicle for extended periods of time\nAbility to work in an environment without a controlled temperature\nBenefits:\nDental insurance\nEmployee assistance program\nHealth insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nVision insurance\n401(k) with matching\n\nThe above declarations are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job described, nor are they intended to be such a listing of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
