The HR Generalist & Office Manager facilitates the daily functions of the Human Resources department and manages day-to-day operations onsite in R3’s Minnesota office. This position supports employees across the full employee lifecycle and contributes to a positive employee experience. This role ensures the office environment is organized, efficient and aligned with R3’s policies while serving as a point of contact for employees and people leaders.LocationThis position work on-site in our Bloomington, MN office Monday through Thursday. Option to work remotely on Fridays.HR Generalist Essential FunctionsServe as a cross-functional HR partner, flexing across all areas of human resources to support day-to-day execution and maintaining continuity of HR operations while escalating complex or high-risk matters to functional specialists as appropriateManage job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications Perform resume screening, phone screening, background screening and reference checksPartner with hiring managers to support timely and compliant hiring decisionsLead and facilitate new hire onboarding, while partnering with HR leadership to continuously improve onboarding design, content, and delivery based on feedback and business needsServe as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and other inquiriesMonitor HR inbox and field emails to the appropriate personAdminister and drive learning and development processes, including LMS management, training deployment, and completion trackingPartner with HR leadership to support the design, enhancement, and rollout of training programs, including identifying gaps and recommending improvements based on employee and business needsRespond to employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other external requests for informationAssist with internal investigations when neededAttend employee disciplinary meetings and terminations as neededAssist with processing employee separations and other offboarding activitiesAssist with coordination of payroll inputs and benefits enrollment as neededAssist with the administration of leave programs as neededAssist with administering R3’s PTO Donation programMaintain accurate HR records and data in the HRIS, SharePoint and other systemsSupport audits and generate HRIS reports as requestedIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and employee experience.Support employee lifecycle events and documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and employment laws.Assist in enforcing company policies and practices consistently, escalating sensitive or complex matters to HR leadership as appropriate.Proactively assess HR processes and programs, develop recommendations, and support the design and implementation of improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and employee experienceOffice Management Essential FunctionsManage day-to-day office operations to ensure a well-organized, safe, and functional workplaceCoordinate facilities, vendors, office services, and supply ordersManage ongoing vendor relationships and issue resolutionSupport onsite logistics, including workspace setup, equipment coordination, and office-related needs for employees and new hiresAssist with meeting coordination and preparations as needed such as refreshments, lunch and scheduling conference roomsAssist with planning and execution of onsite special eventsAssist with Minnesota office projects such as relocations and workspace optimizationPartner cross-functionally with HR, IT, and Finance to support onboarding logistics, equipment provisioning, and office initiatives.Maintain office documentation, procedures, and records; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.The starting pay range for this position is $64,885 - 74,600 per year. The position’s pay range represents the national average pay for similar roles.
