We are seeking a motivated, hard-workingApprentice Electrician / Electrical Helperto join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of experienced Journeyman Electricians and Foremen, gaining hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, or residential electrical systems. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, follows directions well, and takes job site safety seriously.Key Responsibilities
Assisted Installation:Help install electrical conduit, wiring, cables, lighting fixtures, receptacles, and switchboxes under the direct guidance of a lead electrician.
Material & Tool Handling:Gather, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment around the job site. Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area.
Conduit Bending & Prep:Learn and practice measuring, cutting, and bending conduit (EMT, PVC, or Rigid) using manual and mechanical benders.
Wire Pulling:Assist in pulling wire through conduit runs and routing cables through walls, ceilings, and floors.
Blueprint & Code Learning:Assist in reading basic blueprints and technical diagrams; learn to navigate electrical codes to ensure safe, compliant installations.
Safety Compliance:Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines, company safety policies, and proper PPE requirements at all times.
Position Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:[Entry-Level / 1–2 years of experience preferred]. Prior experience in general construction, carpentry, or completion of trade school courses is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate from scratch.
Aptitude & Skills:Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills (including reading a tape measure), and a strong willingness to learn a highly technical trade.
Physical Demands:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in tight spaces (crawls/attics), and stand for long periods in varying weather conditions.
Tools:Must have or be willing to quickly acquire basic personal hand tools (tool pouch, linesman pliers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, tape measure). Specialized power tools will be provided by the company.
Screening:Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
