The position involves designing and implementing predictive models and systems to optimize pricing based on supply, demand, and ROI signals. This role contributes significantly to enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency by automating processes and providing interpretable insights, while also mentoring junior team members.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve algorithmic pricing.Design systems that dynamically adjust prices optimizing supply, demand, willingness-to-pay, and ROI.Develop explainable pricing models with clear drivers for price changes and exceptions.Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization methods to deliver impactful results.Mentor and coach less experienced data science team members.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.Minimum 6 years of experience in data science, including product development, model deployment, and stakeholder communication.Proficiency in Python and SQL with experience across the data stack including model deployment and pipeline orchestration.Advanced knowledge of machine learning, predictive modeling, network analysis, price elasticity estimation, and optimization under constraints.Experience managing models throughout their lifecycle and monitoring performance.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.Pay Range and Compensation Package:Base salary range: $143,374 to $210,544.The total compensation package varies based on skills, qualifications, location, and experience.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
