Industrial Journeyman Electrician JOB POSTING: Industrial Journeyman Electrician Job Type: Full-Time Charleston, SC JOB SUMMARY INTCAI is seeking a skilled Industrial Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings. The ideal candidate is a certified journeyman with hands-on experience in conduit work, panel building, and cable tray systems, comfortable working at heights, and willing to travel to project sites as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Install, bend, and terminate conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC) to NEC standards for industrial applications. - Build, wire, and troubleshoot electrical panels and motor control centers (MCCs). - Assemble and install cable trays, ensuring proper routing and support for power and control cables. - Perform electrical work at heights using manlifts, ladders, and scaffolding, adhering to safety protocols. - Travel to various job sites, including overnight stays, to complete installations and maintenance tasks. - Read and interpret blueprints, Eplan, schematics, and technical drawings. - Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial electrical systems. - Collaborate with teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent certification) with 4000+ hours of documented experience. - Proficiency in conduit bending and installation (manual and hydraulic benders). - Experience building and wiring electrical panels (e.g., 480V, 3-phase systems,24v). - Demonstrated skill in cable tray installation and cable management. - Ability to work at heights (e.g., 18' mezzanines, elevated platforms) with OSHA-compliant training (e.g., OSHA 10/30). - Willingness to travel frequently, including out-of-state projects (valid driver's license required). - Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E). - Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
