M/E Engineering is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.\nResponsibilities\nPossesses a professional attitude showing interest in M/E's reputation and growth.\nA fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of the area of their assignment.\nPlans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, adoption and modifications of standard techniques and procedures.\nWorks with the Principal, Associate or Project Manager to finalize Project Scope and Schedule of deliverables and understands priorities identified.\nIn addition to duties of project engineer/project designer, applies advanced practices and techniques, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies and follows projects through program, schematic, design development, construction document, bidding and construction phases.\nSupervises, coordinates and reviews work, schedules and assigns work to meet completion dates.\nDevelops reports, studies, and system analysis.\nWorks in an efficient an effective manner and makes good decisions.\nEvaluates application of substitute equipment.\nReviews final adjustment of equipment and systems after installation.\nWrites or contacts client directly except in controversial matters.\nAbility to represent the firm at meetings and cover all trades, which may require further follow through.\nIs assisted on projects by other engineers and/or designers.\nEstimates workforce needs and schedules and assigns work to meet completion date and updates the project manager as to status and resources available.\nMentors and trains younger engineers and designers.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nEducation and Experience\nPreferably has a Professional Engineering License (P.E.) or Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) working toward P.E.
