As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Journeyman Electrician to help power up our mission. Position Overview:As a Journeyman Electrician, youll work alongside our expert installation and service teams to wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment. Your role will be critical in delivering safe, code-compliant installations and troubleshooting services for residential and light commercial generator systems. Key Responsibilities:Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panelsInstall electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshootingAssist in preparing generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical componentsConduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systemsUse electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safelyEnsure all installations meet local and national electrical codesPromote a safe and positive work environmentPerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipQualifications:Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License or Residential Wireman LicenseHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experienceStrong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)AC and DC electrical experience preferredComfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test metersStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditionsWhy Work at Generator Supercenter? xaygatp Industry-leading training and supportCompetitive pay based on experience and licensureOpportunities for advancement in a fast-growing companyWork with the top brand in standby generatorsSupportive team environment and safety-first cultureTake your electrical career to the next levelapply today to join Generator Supercenter and help us keep homes and businesses powered when it matters most.
