Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.\n\nPosition Title: Facilities Reliability Tech 2\nLocation: Assembly Drive, Rockford, IL 61109\nShift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm\nSummary of Objective:\nPerform advanced facility related preventative maintenance and repairs as a Facility Reliability Technician (FRT), maintain the Pharmaceutical facilities at a \"World Class\" level. Apply deductive reasoning and interpret a variety of technical instructions. There are no direct supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.\nSupport all PCI departments in special and routine service functions such as timely facility repairs, facility preparation for special events, etc.\nTo be self-reliant to diagnose and troubleshoot facility related mechanical systems with minimal direction including but not limited to: a. Repair and preventative maintenance of facility roofs, walls, doors, windows, etc. b. Repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, lighting, electrical, and plumbing systems. c. Repair and preventative maintenance of parking lots and exterior grounds.\nSupport the AB facilities as part of the FRT On-Call team.\nAssist with snow removal efforts performed by PCI with regard to sidewalks, snow plowing and salting of parking lots and sidewalks.\nAdhere to all PCI and cGMP policies, procedures, rules and regulations.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Reliability Lead, Maintenance Supervisor, Manger or Director.\nThis position may require overtime and/or weekend work.\nKnowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.\nAttendance to work is an essential function of this position\nPerforms other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. Qualifications:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position. The ability to read simple prose, in a form equivalent to typescript or printing, on subjects within a familiar context.\nIntermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\nAbility to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations.\nMust possess the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.\nMust possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nPreferred:\nAbility to demonstrate attention to detail.\nAbility to adapt to a changing work environment.\nAbility to follow instructions and respond to management direction.\nAbility to work independently and/or as part of a team.\nPreferred MEP Building Trades related experience HVAC emphasis or equivalent with a minimum of - Three (3) years of facility maintenance or equivalent experience.\nShould possess an understanding of facility maintenance including:\nPredictive facilities maintenance program\ncGMP guidelines\nWater, gas, and electrical utilities\nMEP, Fire protection systems, and electrical generation systems\nHVAC systems, including but not limited to low humidity control systems\nFor Illinois residents: the hiring rate for this position is $22.15 - $24.92 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
