The role focuses on identifying and resolving quality issues, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with engineering, production, and suppliers to reduce defects, improve yield, and deliver consistent, reliable products.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead root cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA) for nonconforming products and process failures.\nDevelop, maintain, and analyze quality metrics (PPM, yield, SPC) to monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities.\nDesign and execute inspection plans, control plans, and measurement system analyses (MSA) to ensure effective quality control.\nSupport new product introductions by developing quality requirements, performing process audits, and validating manufacturing processes.\nFacilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean methods to reduce waste and improve flow in manufacturing.\nApply Six Sigma problem-solving tools (DMAIC) to reduce variation and improve process capability.\nPerform supplier quality management, including audits, incoming inspection requirements, and corrective action coordination.\nCreate and maintain documentation required for ISO/TS or other applicable quality management systems and assist with internal and external audits.\nTrain production teams on quality standards, inspection techniques, and corrective-action procedures.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and procurement to ensure design for manufacturability and quality by design.\nUse statistical tools and software to analyze data and present findings to stakeholders with recommended actions.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or related technical field, or equivalent experience.\n3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment preferred.\nPractical experience with Lean manufacturing principles and leading continuous improvement projects.\nKnowledge of statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), FMEA, and root cause analysis tools (8D, fishbone, 5-why).\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems and audit processes.\nExperience with quality inspection tools and methods, GD&T, and product testing standards relevant to the industry.\nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and statistical software (Minitab, JMP, or equivalent).\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to train manufacturing teams.\nDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nBenefits\n\n- Medical Dental and Vision\n\n- 401k\n\n- Yearly Bonus\n\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
