The candidate will handle payment posting from insurance carriers and patients, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate healthcare payment data processing.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and post payments from insurance carriers and patientsInterpret and enter data from EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)Balance daily deposits and reconcile remittancesApply deductibles, copays, co-insurance, and contractual adjustmentsResolve payment and billing discrepanciesPerform high-volume alpha/numeric data entry from medical documentsVerify data accuracy and meet daily productivity targetsEnsure HIPAA compliance and secure handling of PHI dataWork with healthcare providers and insurance-related payment processesRequired SkillsExperience with EOB processing and payment postingStrong understanding of healthcare providers and insurance workflowsExperience balancing deposits and reconciliationHigh-speed and accurate data entry skillsKnowledge of deductibles, copays, co-insurance, and adjustmentsFamiliarity with HIPAA and PHI handlingStrong attention to detail and accuracyAdditional InformationIndustry experience is mandatoryOpportunity for contract extension available
