Texans for Ricardo Villarreal: Campaign ManagerA progressive congressional campaign in South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Campaign Manager to lead all aspects of a competitive campaign operation.The Campaign Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of the campaign, including strategy, staffing, budget, and execution, and will supervise all staff and consultants. This role works closely with the candidate to implement a comprehensive campaign plan encompassing fundraising, field, communications, digital, voter contact, and get-out-the-vote efforts.Salary: $5,000$7,500 per month, commensurate with experienceLocation: Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, or within South TexasTravel: Regular travel required; evenings and weekends as neededReports to: CandidateKey ResponsibilitiesManage the overall campaign operation, strategy, and budgetStrategically manage the candidate's time with an emphasis on donor and voter contactSupervise Finance, Field, Communications, and Digital teamsDraft and post social media content, press releases, endorsement questionnaires, and campaign emailsHelp refine campaign messaging and platform prioritiesRecruit, train, and manage volunteersLead community outreach and field efforts to build a diverse political coalitionSchedule and coordinate fundraising call time with the candidate and finance consultantsMaintain and execute a comprehensive fundraising planBuild and maintain strong political and community relationshipsOversee the execution of a robust field and GOTV programPerform additional tasks as needed to support campaign goalsRequired QualificationsProficiency with campaign technologies including NGP, PDI/VAN, P2P texting platforms, Canva, Mailchimp, CRMs, Google Suite, and ActBlueAt least one full campaign cycle in a management or senior leadership roleExperience in grassroots, labor, and/or political organizingDemonstrated success mobilizing volunteers and building community leadershipStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independentlyExperience managing large, diverse teams of volunteers or staffPreferred QualificationsFluency in SpanishExperience managing staff or volunteers remotelyEqual Opportunity StatementThe campaign is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
