motivated Project Engineer to support battery production line installation, commissioning, network systems integration, and manufacturing launch activities within a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environment.\nThis role will support production preparation from equipment procurement through startup and mass production handover while collaborating with engineering teams, construction management, vendors, technicians, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience supporting capital equipment projects, manufacturing controls systems, PLC integration, MES/SCADA systems, and production launch activities within an industrial manufacturing environment.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nParticipate in daily written and verbal project reporting up to Senior Manager level\nDevelop process plans for battery production lines with direct management support\nWork in a collaborative environment alongside Engineers, Construction Management, Vendors, Technicians, and General Contractors to achieve project milestones\nSupport equipment procurement, installation planning, commissioning, pre-production trials, and launch of battery production lines\nParticipate in advanced cleanliness and clean room manufacturing protocols\nLead and/or support equipment trials both at vendor facilities and onsite after installation\nVerify safety, quality, productivity, and operational targets during equipment startup activities\nSupport implementation of manufacturing network systems including:\nAndon systems\nManufacturing Execution Systems (MES)\nManufacturing Operations Management (MOM) connectivity\nSupport network system specifications utilizing:\nOPC-UA\nCC-Link\nSQL\nSCADA systems\nConfigure manufacturing equipment PLCs (primarily Mitsubishi) for network connectivity using:\nSLMP\nEthernet TCP/IP\nEthernet/IP protocols\nSupport root cause analysis, punch list management, and countermeasure implementation\nTrack KPIs, support production issue resolution, and assist with mass production handover\nCollaborate with domestic and international cross-functional teams on schedules, milestones, and open items\nCreate and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets\nComplete internal and external technical training as required\nQualifications | What You Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related technical field\nMinimum 3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment\nExperience supporting capital equipment projects from planning through mass production startup\nProject management experience involving capital investments greater than $0.5M\nExperience creating and maintaining detailed installation and project schedules\nAbility to read and interpret 2D drawings including facility and process equipment layouts\nProficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nExperience with AutoCAD or other 2D/3D drafting software\nPLC experience with ability to read, interpret, and modify logic\nSQL, Oracle, or other database experience\nExperience supporting industrial machine networks and Cisco network infrastructure\nExperience using Ignition for Andon visualization or related manufacturing tools\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%\nFlexibility to support weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods based on project schedules\nPreferred Qualifications\nMitsubishi PLC programming experience\nSCADA systems experience\nMES systems experience\nExperience with Kepware or similar SCADA data platforms\nAutomotive or battery manufacturing experience
