Under the general supervision of the Area Manager, the Floating Manager assumes the operational duties of a Store Manager. He/she will provide leadership, daily support, and direction to the staff within the assigned locations.\r\nEssential Responsibilities Ensure company bookwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Prepare bank deposits, reconcile tills and daily cash, troubleshoot and research errors.\r\nManage inventory levels, stock counts, and inventory controls. Oversee ordering and deliveries as needed.\r\nEnforce company standard for quality, customer service, and health and safety.\r\nRespond to customer complaints and comments.\r\nMake regular tours of the property, talk to team members and customers, identifying urgent issues and solving them. Communicate with Store Manager or Area Manager any outstanding issues.\r\nEnsure the store keeps a high level of cleanliness, delegate tasks as needed.\r\nKeep a focus on food quality and preparation.\r\nCommunicate and implement new policies and promotions to the team when necessary.\r\nOrder and return product, manage invoices, troubleshoot and research errors, as needed.\r\nVerify/Finalize timecards for employees and approve paid time off as needed.\r\nOccasional local travel between assigned stores.\r\nSupport all roles and responsibilities within designated store and lead by example.\r\nCompetencies Adaptability – adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.\r\nCommunication – speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings.
