There is flexibility in staffing engineers on projects across the company, depending on the project, your specific responsibilities might include:\n\nBuilding and maintaining our platform on top of our cutting-edge voice models, which are used by millions of users.\n\nImproving our existing products to ensure that they’re intuitive, powerful and make innovative use of our research team’s latest break-throughs. This could involve adding significant functionality, or building integrations with other common consumer/enterprise solutions.\n\nMaintaining and strengthening our internal infrastructure as we scale and grow to ensure that our products remain live, performant and secure.\n\nCollaborating closely with engineers and others from the Frontend, Growth and Sales teams to understand, and design solutions for our customers.\n\nRequirements\n\nWe do not require any formal experience, certifications, or degrees. Instead, we are seeking enthusiastic software engineers who can showcase solving impressively hard problems with artifacts such as past projects, or GitHub contributions. We do require:\n\nExpertise in Python.\n\nA strong background in backend development.\n\nFamiliarity with common software and system design patterns and infrastructure including APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions, data structures etc.\n\nKnowledge about test design and security fundamentals.\n\nBonus:\n\nExperience with Kubernetes.\n\nExperience with Stripe or other payment processing providers.\n\nBasics about how AI models work.\n\nLocation\n\nThis role is remote and can be executed globally.
