This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer with deep expertise in gas turbine engine performance, operability, and thermal system modeling using NPSS (Numerical Propulsion System Simulation).\n\nThe selected candidate will play a critical role throughout the engine development lifecycle, supporting engine definition, performance analysis, and model-based engineering initiatives.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nBuild, debug, refine, and maintain steady-state and transient gas turbine engine thermal models using NPSS.\n\nDevelop and support customer-facing NPSS engine models.\n\nAnalyze engine performance and operability characteristics across a range of operating conditions.\n\nLead requirements analysis and requirements decomposition activities.\n\nSupport engine definition and development throughout all phases of New Product Introduction (NPI).\n\nFoster technical knowledge sharing and mentor team members in NPSS modeling methodologies and best practices.\n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support engine development programs.\n\nGenerate and deliver technical reports, presentations, and engineering recommendations to leadership, customers, and stakeholders.\n\nSupport Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiatives and integration of NPSS models with MBSE tools such as Cameo.\n\nIdentify and resolve complex engineering challenges related to engine performance and operability.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n\nMinimum 7 years of experience in gas turbine engine Performance & Operability Modeling and Analysis.\n\nExtensive experience developing, debugging, and maintaining NPSS engine cycle models.\n\nStrong understanding of gas turbine engine steady-state and transient thermodynamics and physics.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience integrating NPSS models within Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments.\n\nFamiliarity with Cameo Systems Modeler or similar MBSE platforms.\n\nDemonstrated mentoring and technical leadership experience.\n\nExperience supporting commercial and military aerospace propulsion programs.\n\nAbility to work effectively across global, cross-functional engineering teams.\n\nSelf-directed professional capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.\n\nAbout BEPC\nBEPC Inc., founded in 2007, is a 100% employee-owned company providing top-tier consulting and staffing solutions across industries like technology, engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
