Key functions include conducting in-depth data analysis, collaborating with database developers to enhance data collection and storage procedures, and developing and maintaining data integrations and ETL flows.\r\nPerforms duties that advance COTA's Strategic Plan and reflect the organization's core values of safety, empowerment, accountability, teamwork, and service, and support the mission of Moving Every Life Forward.\r\nEssential Job Functions\r\nLeads analyses from requirements gathering or problem statement through deployment or presentation, fully understanding business processes and objectives, underlying data, and relevant factors;\r\nIndependently manages analytics projects and provides regular and clear updates; and,\r\nSynthesizes complex analyses into clear narratives to facilitate understanding and decision-making.\r\nSupport the design and implementation of integration flows and enhancements, including APIs and/or file-based integrations.\r\nWork cross-functionally to identify opportunities and build solutions to optimize data processing, improve data quality, identify issues, and reduce failures.\r\nGather data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.\r\nCreate robust (advanced and/or statistical) analysis and communicate findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.\r\nDocument processes and maintain data records.\r\nAdhere to best practices in data analysis and collection.\r\nKeep abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.\r\nSupport Quality Assurance/Quality Control to ensure a quality level that meets COTA's requirements; monitors data systems to ensure data quality.\r\nCollaborate with other business analysts and project team members across the department and on other projects to share knowledge and experience that can be leveraged for cross-project purposes or for improvement in the data quality process in general.\r\nPerforms other duties as assigned; and\r\nRegular, predictable and punctual attendance required.\r\nMinimum Education & Experience Required\r\nRequires a bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field and minimum of four (4) years of experience in data analysis.
