Job Description Clayton Services is searching for a Panel Builder to join a thriving company in North Houston. The Panel Builder will be responsible for leading electrical assembly operations, wiring industrial control panels, and troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.Job Type: Temp-to-HirePay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hour plus OTBenefits: Excellent benefits available after the temporary period, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.Schedule: 2nd Shift2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:45 PM - 3:15 AM with weekend availability required*MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND AND DRUG SCREEN BEFORE STARTING*Panel Builder Responsibilities:Lead and oversee panel builders and electrical assemblers on the production floorInspect completed electrical work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standardsInstall electrical components into industrial control panels and HVAC-related equipmentDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and wiring issuesRead and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprintsSelect appropriate electrical components such as breakers, contactors, transformers, and overloadsSafely and efficiently operate power tools and electrical testing equipmentMaintain compliance with shop procedures, safety policies, and production requirementsAccurately clock in/out and allocate time to correct labor accountsWork scheduled shifts, including occasional weekends as neededPanel Builder Skills and Abilities:Strong experience assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panelsSolid understanding of electrical wiring methods, gauges, and power systemsAbility to identify wiring errors and maintain neat, organized panel layoutsProven leadership and team coordination skillsAbility to perform well in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamMechanical aptitude with hand and power toolsPanel Builder Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 3 years of electrical experience requiredTechnical degree, electrician license, or documented electrical training under a licensed electrician requiredPanel Builder Physical Requirements:Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to stand or remain stationary for extended periodsAbility to climb ladders safelyAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsPanel Builder - Immediate need.
