Quality Manager

Summary:Our award-winning client is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. Join our dynamic Tier 1 automotive plant in Effingham, IL as our Quality Manager! In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence through robust quality control systems and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You'll lead a dedicated team, collaborate with colleagues across departments, and ensure seamless communication with customers. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing company at the forefront of the automotive industry.Responsibilities:Implement and refine quality control and reliability techniques to achieve superior product quality.Collaborate closely with Process Engineering on process improvement initiatives.Support the successful execution of prototype builds and data collection.Motivate and inspire your team to foster a positive and productive work environment.Maintain accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping systems.Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including internal teams and external customers. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven management experience with demonstrably strong leadership skills.Prior experience in the automotive manufacturing industry (mid- to senior-level preferred).Six Sigma certification a plus.
