Automated Align and Final Test software and system integration for LMR portable and mobile products will be used/maintained from the use of MPS (minimum performance standards), TIA Standards, and technical design documents. This position will regularly interface with Engineering R&D department, Florida, Florida Manufacturing department, and the contract manufacturer to support product transition.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nMeet all of the Technician III requirements plus demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot any product to component level\nDemonstrate some circuit analysis capabilities and be able to assist the Engineers in resolving production failures as well as pilot run debugging\nExperience in RF, digital and analog circuitry\nBe familiar with EIA/TIA and MPS test methods\nAble to program products including flashing firmware updates, updating codeplugs and product features using internal software tools.\nMust be able to solder per company guidelines\nMust be able to assemble and debug prototype assemblies\nMust be able to execute formal software test-plans and take initiative in spotting subnormal radio behavior whether or not it is addressed in the test-plan\nAble to assist design engineers in component selection\nFamiliar with Bill-of-Materials structures and Engineering Change notice processes\nAll duties assigned by Supervisor\nRequirements:\nKnowledge & Skills:\nProficient with Oscilloscope, Communication Test Set, Signal Generator, Modulation Analyzer, Audio Analyzer, VOM and Spectrum Analyzer\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office required\nExceptional verbal and written English communication skills\nGood analytical skills\nVery detail-oriented, accurate and organized\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nConfidentiality and time management\nQualifications:\nEducation: ASEE or ASEET degree and/or equivalent experience\nExperience: minimum three years’ experience as RF technician\nWorking Conditions & Physical Demands:\nWork typically takes place in a normal production environment requiring walking, kneeling, crouching, reaching, hearing and\no Handling – test equipment, large/small tool, radios, parts, keyboard manipulation\no Sitting – 8 hours per day\no Talking – communicate troubleshooting problems\no Vision – ability to focus on monitors, test equipment and work with the aid of a microscope\no Lifting – 0-40 pounds\nOperate a PC and other office equipment\nTravel between floors and office buildings may be required\nEnvironmental conditions: noise, vibration, oils, solvents, chemicals\n\nBK Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
