Accounting Manager | Apex, NC | Industrial Services   Our team is working with a leading industrial services company providing precision cleaning, passivation, and surface treatments, looking to hire an Accounting Manager for their growing team. This role oversees project and job cost accounting, including WIP tracking, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and contract margin analysis, while partnering closely with operations to ensure accurate cost tracking and change order management. It supports job-level financial reporting to drive project profitability and serves as a key finance partner to business unit leadership, providing insights on cost drivers, revenue trends, and overall performance. Responsibilities also include managing monthly close, P&L reporting, and variance analysis, as well as implementing strong internal controls and accounting policies. Additionally, the role supports ERP optimization (NetSuite) to ensure data integrity and reliable financial reporting across the business unit.    This role is a full-time 4 days on-site & 1 work-from-home day that will offer between 120-130K base, bonus, & strong benefits. If you are interested in this opportunity, please reach out to Vincenzo Kulturides directly at vkulturides@daleyaa.com   Responsibilities:Manage project and job cost accounting, including WIP schedules, percentage- of-completion calculations, and contract margin analysisPartner with operations and project management teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, change order accounting, and revenue recognition across active projectsDevelop and maintain job-level financial reporting to support project profitability reviews and operational decision-makingAct as the primary finance point of contact for BU leadership, providing actionable insights on cost drivers, revenue trends, and project financial performance, and other business support functions as requiredOwn BU-level financial reporting, including monthly close, P&L management, and variance analysis against budget and prior periodsImplement and enforce accounting policies and internal controls consistent with corporate standards and PE sponsor expectationsAct as the primary finance point of contact for BU leadership, providing actionable insights on cost drivers, revenue trends, and project financial performanceSupport ERP utilization and optimization (NetSuite) at the BU level; ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy   Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA a plus5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experienceProject-based or construction financial management experience strongly preferred — familiarity with WIP, job costing, and contract revenue recognitionBackground in industrial services, specialty contracting, facilities services, or adjacent industries preferredExperience operating in fast-paced, multi-project environments with strong attention to detail and financial controlsProficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite experience a plusStrong Excel skills; comfortable applying AI to simplify work
