Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Powertrain.Job ResponsibilitiesSimulation for validation of recommended changes to current processInvolved in Kaizen events with assisting in implementation for proposed improvementsAssist in 5s activities to improve the workflow and environment of the employeesParticipate in launch projectsUpdates and maintains procedures and documents related to the Industrial Engineering positionReview and validate standard work documentationReview and validate balance chart of linesReview and validate production capacity sheetsReview and validate equipment contingency plansComply and develop reporting for Industrial Engineering KPI’sBS in Industrial Engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering, required.2-3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered.Master’s degree in engineering field a plus.Excellent oral and written communication skillsProficient in computer skills:Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etcNegotiation skills, planning, leadership skillsAwareness, Unity, EmpowermentAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
