We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer for our First Quality Retail Services facility located in Lewistown, PA.\nThis position will be responsible for providing technical leadership on assigned lines with similar technology, manufacturing cost and quality improvements, manufacturing equipment utilization, reliability, speeds, scrap rates, and efficiency goals.\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nWorks closely with Production, Planning, QA, & Maintenance to meet daily production goals, priorities, coverage, and special projects.\nProvides technical leadership for continuous improvement projects on his/her assigned lines for improvements in efficiency, scrap, speeds, quality, and safety.\nLeads and/or assists PD & QA on new product/process improvements and materials trials on his/her assigned production lines while minimizing production impacts.\nMaintains, audits, and updates as needed “Good Run” documentation, insuring process conditions and measurements are defined, documented, and shared with operators.\nWorks closely with Production Supervisor on his/her assigned lines to provide focused daily direction and technical support to crews and maintenance.\nFor new lines/equipment within his/her assigned technology, may lead the process definition on new production lines and major equipment and start up, insuring all process conditions and measurements are defined, documented, and share with operators.\nThe ideal candidate should possess the following:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering.\nMinimum 4-year experience (must include internships) in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in process troubleshooting and improvements on high-speed consumer good products, packaging, or web converting equipment preferred.\nDevelop, maintain, and audit systems and procedures.\nSelf-motivated and assist with other departments to improve product performance and install new equipment.\nExceptional analytical problem solving, equipment vendor management skills, and strong\ncomputer skills are needed to be successful.\nSix Sigma, DOE and SPC experience is a definite plus.\nProject management skills & experience beneficial\nMechanical aptitude for design changes/modifications and CAD experience preferred\nExcellent compensation and benefit package!\nFor immediate and confidential consideration, please visit our website at www.firstquality.com & click on the Join Us Tab!\nFirst Quality is committed to protecting information under the care of First Quality Enterprises commensurate with leading industry standards and applicable regulations.
