In this role, you will serve as a key technical resource, partnering with developers and vendors to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server-based applications. You will also play a critical role in onboarding teams into our DevOps platform and driving automation of application deployment pipelines.\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\nCollaborate with internal development teams and third-party vendors to deploy, configure, and support applications hosted on Windows Server infrastructure\r\n\r\n\r\nTroubleshoot complex application and platform issues across the full Windows Server stack, identifying root causes and driving resolution\r\n\r\n\r\nAssist teams in onboarding to the organization's DevOps platform, guiding them through best practices and standardized workflows\r\n\r\n\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain automation scripts and processes to streamline application deployments and reduce manual effort\r\n\r\n\r\nManage and maintain IIS-hosted web applications, including configuration, performance tuning, and issue resolution\r\n\r\n\r\nAdminister and troubleshoot database connectivity, including MySQL, SQL Server, and ODBC connections\r\n\r\n\r\nManage certificate lifecycles, including provisioning, renewal, installation, and troubleshooting across application environments\r\n\r\n\r\nCreate and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and runbooks\r\n\r\n\r\nParticipate in on-call rotations or incident response as needed\r\n\r\n\r\nEducation & Experience\r\n\r\n\r\nMinimum 8 years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer\r\n\r\n\r\nOR -\r\n\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer\r\n\r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong troubleshooting skills with a demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex, multi-layered technical issues\r\n\r\n\r\nDeep experience with Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022)\r\n\r\n\r\nProficiency in IIS configuration, management, and troubleshooting\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) / Azure DevOps Server\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong PowerShell scripting skills for automation, administration, and tooling\r\n\r\n\r\nWorking knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server, and ODBC connection configuration and troubleshooting\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience managing SSL/TLS certificates - provisioning, binding, renewal, and troubleshooting\r\n\r\n\r\nAbout Us\r\nFirst Horizon Corporation is a leading regional financial services company, dedicated to helping our clients, communities and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel.
