Be Proud.\nABOUT THIS JOB:\nThe Warehouse Supervisor supports the Warehouse Manager in running the daily operations of a busy event design & production warehouse occupying over 30,000 square feet. This includes supervising the pick, packing, and pulling process, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and deliveries of shows in a very fast paced environment. This position requires supervising employees and ensuring that all employees follow warehouse safety guidelines and regulations. This also requires working closely with other supervisors, managers, and departments.\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nOpen and close the warehouse as scheduled.\nSupervise the day-to-day operations and the quality output of the warehouse (gear preparation, QC, packing, and loading/unloading of event production equipment)\nCommunicate expectations and delegate daily tasks, custom orders, and projects to staff.\nMaintain the security, and integrity of all warehouse equipment while ensuring its safe use and operation.\nPrint and analyze pull sheets, trucking schedules, and custom orders.\nMake sure that trucks are loaded and unloaded safely.\nSupervise the pick, pull, and packing of orders and rentals, and ensure efficiency and quality\nSupervise the receiving of shows, rentals, and purchased orders.\nOrganize, track and monitor event equipment as it moves inbound/outbound to/from events.\nReport any missing or broken gear to the Inventory Manager.\nSolve problems as they materialize.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEMPLOYEE SUPERVISION:\nSupervise standards for conduct, performance, and efficiency for all warehouse employee\nSupervise safety, breaks, and performance of staff throughout shift\nPromote teamwork, team building, continued training, and staff morale\nReport any employee issues and coach as necessary.\nTrain newer staff as needed and make sure that employees have attended or received the proper training for warehouse operations.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nThis position requires a High School Diploma or GED.\nA valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nMinimum of 1–2 years of experience in live event lighting production, entertainment technology, warehouse operations, or another fast-paced, related environment.\nWorking knowledge of professional lighting equipment, including conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures is a plus.\nKnowledge of electrical power systems and temporary event power distribution is a plus.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event and production schedules.\nNICE TO HAVE:\nPrevious experience driving 16'–24' box trucks\nForklift certification or experience operating warehouse material handling equipment\nWHAT WE OFFER:\nA dynamic and creative work environment within a thriving event production company.\nOpportunities for growth and development in a high-energy industry.\nCompetitive pay and benefits package\n15 days PTO per year plus paid holidays.\nMedical, dental, vision, and chiropractic benefits.\nFor qualified employees, we currently offer a matching 401K.\nA collaborative team culture where your contributions directly impact the success of our events.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment\nRegular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head\nAbility to work in an environment that may be noisy, unheated, and not air conditioned\nEngage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists\nSCHEDULE:\nIn person work\nRegular Schedule: Friday–Tuesday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.\nNote: Requires schedule flexibility approximately once a month to accommodate an early start time of 5:30 AM or earlier.\nCOMPENSATION:\n$72,384 per year\nPRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT:\nFollowing a conditional offer of employment, Got Light conducts a routine background check in compliance with the California Fair Chance Act.\n\nGot Light is an equal opportunity employer.
