Now Hiring For 2nd ShiftPrimary Function: Deposit a variety of base mixes through a stencil and blocking mesh to create unique designs on backing substrate, while operating printing tools and screen-printing machinery.Responsibilities and Duties: This information is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Team member may perform other duties as assigned.Create base shapes according to job schedules and backing substratesStage raw materials and tools as specified on work ordersOperates screen-printing machine to print base shapes onto backing substrateMounts screen-printing frames in specified sequence on machineSet machine speed & adjust pressure of squeegees according to type of design being printedAdjust valves to deposit base into screens and for optimum speed, registration and print qualityRun, adjust and troubleshoot production equipment and machineryCheck production equipment to ensure proper machine set up, registration and base viscosityInspects printed products for correct alignmentComplete work orders to capture inventory and lot numbersBreak down machine and clean screens for proper storageQualifications:Must demonstrate good visual acuity to distinguish between details and colors.Demonstrate good organization skills to collect and assemble ingredients, coordinate timetables and schedule work assignments with co-workers. Will also need to organize and maintain product files.Must be able to give and receive accurate verbal instructions to follow directions on production lists, mixing sheets, color cards and product labels.Written communications to make entries on production lists, mixing sheets and base worksheets.Good problem-solving skills to determine appropriate action for resolution.Able to work with a team.Ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
