Get ready to unearth your true potential and dig into the exciting world of HEI Civil!\nWe are looking to hire an experienced Dozer Operator to join our Waco, TX team!\nResponsibilities:\nOperate a dozer to support a variety of heavy civil construction projects.\nOperate additional equipment as needed, including loaders, excavators, scrapers, backhoes, water trucks, motor graders, compactors, skid steers, and other construction equipment.\nWork closely with crew members to complete daily project tasks and follow site direction.\nComplete daily equipment inspections and accurately document findings.\nKeep assigned equipment clean and in good working condition.\nPerform routine equipment checks and notify the appropriate supervisor of maintenance or repair needs.\nParticipate in daily crew meetings and project planning activities.\nOperate equipment in accordance with company procedures, project requirements, and applicable regulations.\nCommunicate equipment concerns, operational issues, or job site observations to the supervisor.\nAssist with additional duties as assigned to support project needs.\nWhen equipment operation is not required, assist the crew with general labor tasks.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nFamiliarity with electronic equipment controls and operating systems.\nStrong hand-eye coordination and equipment operating skills.\nWorking knowledge of heavy civil construction practices and job site operations.\nAbility to work outdoors in a variety of weather and environmental conditions.\nAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials and working on uneven terrain.\nDependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.\nEducation and Experience:\nEducation: High school diploma/GED preferred.\nExperience: Two (2) or more years of experience operating dozers or other heavy construction equipment preferred.
