{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2cef1ca0519a94b82029fcc9","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2cef1ca0519a94b82029fcc9","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2cef1ca0519a94b82029fcc9","title":"Materials Supervisor","description":"Job Description\n\nMaterials Supervisor Job Responsibilities:\nThe Materials Supervisor will coordinate all material control systems, inbound/outbound shipments, and materials handling activities and inventory control primarily from the shop floor.\nCoordinate all material handler activities.\nCoordinate activities for warehouse layout.\nTraining, coaching, developing the material handling team.\nImplement and assist in development of cycle counting and pull system for each commodity.\nManage/coordinate the receiving and DMR processes.\nManage the input of incoming receipts on a regular timely basis.\nManage the process of outbound shipments.\nCoordinate all customs compliance requirements.\nObserves Materials/Production operation within their area of control to ascertain\nCompliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, 5’s and Production/Materials Standards.\nEfficient operation of equipment: takes corrective action to eliminate any deviation.\nAssist in maintaining and revising visual inventory benchmarks standards.\nDaily coordination of Production builds schedules.\nDaily floor walks\nLiaison between Materials and Productions\nCoordinate any outside warehouse activities.\nRun RPS history reports and cumulative reports verifying receipts have been collected in RPS file.\nManage the process of supplier cum reconciliation.\nMonitor system for accurately tracking Truckload Utilization.
