{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2ceea19caf2dc78c7eec7f1a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2ceea19caf2dc78c7eec7f1a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2ceea19caf2dc78c7eec7f1a","title":"Systems Engineer III","description":"Overview\nThe Systems Engineer III provides systems engineering services to all projects under the management of the US Army.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvides acquisition management advice and recommendations based on a comprehensive understanding of all Adaptive Acquisition Framework Pathways (Urgent Capability Acquisition, Middle Tier Acquisition, Major Capability Acquisition, Software Acquisition, and Defense Business Systems), MIL HDBK 245 (Handbook for the preparation of SOW), and MIL HDBK 61A (Configuration Management).\n\nCoordination with CPE Headquarters staff (i.e., budget, systems engineering, logistics, and contracts planning) to identify, prepare, review, and track approval of program documentation.\n\nPrepare, review, and staff engineering and programmatic documents, such as: Systems Engineering Plan, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Information Support Plan, Program Protection Plan, Materiel Release Package, and Cybersecurity Strategy.\n\nParticipate in technical reviews, including events leading to the review, and events after the review, such as: Software Specification Review, System Requirements Review, System Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Production Readiness Review, Functional Configuration Audit, and Physical Configuration Audit. The contractor shall be familiar with the IEEE 15288.2 (Technical Reviews), IEEE 15288.1, and CPE IEW&S Policy for Technical Review.\n\nParticipate in the weekly/bi-weekly integrated product teams and working groups by offering subject matter expertise.\n\nConsult with Army leadership on Lessons Learned, Executive Summaries, and CPE IEW&S policies and procedures.\n\nProvide subject matter expertise in Post-Award Conferences.\n\nReview all systems engineering documentation in preparation for Milestone Decision Reviews.\n\nDevelop, analyze, and track programs’ Integrated Master Schedules and Risks.\n\nQualifications\nRequired:\n\nBachelor's Degree\n\nA minimum of (8) years of related work experience is required.\n\nExperience with technologies for C2, ISR, Cyber, EW, sensor integration, etc.\n\nTS/SCI Clearance\n\nSalary Range: $155K-$178K\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline.
