Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionResponsibilities:Quality and Safety:Maintain the Right to Operate and ensure that all processes are performed safely and healthily; Address and escalate any potentially unsafe hazardsEnsure accuracy and completeness of all procedures and instructions related to the proper receipt, quarantine, storage, and disbursement of materials as it relates to FDA, OSHA, FAA, QSR, ISO, Good Manufacturing Practices, manufacturing exception events (MEEs), and other Roche policies and proceduresAudit readiness (OSHA, FAA, FDA, etc.); Performs department initiatives to prepare for internal/external audits and inspectionsTimely reporting of safety hazards, incidents, and near missesCompletes all assigned training. Responsible for maintaining 95% or above training complianceProduction:Performs daily assigned standard work according to the department’s governing processes (i.e., GSP’s, OPs, QPs, or SOPs)Ensures materials are distributed on time and accurately per the production scheduleInventory counting and adherence to inventory control processesProvides support to non-operations stakeholders with their good receipts, allocation, movements, and shipmentsLearns and operates automated systems/equipment, and sequences of operation, including Equipment setup, operation, and cleaning; Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting of equipmentResponsible for daily attendance in Tier meetingsResponsible for the operation of powered industrial vehicles in a safe and compliant mannerRequired to handle or manage hazardous materialsContinuous Improvement:Organize and maintain logistics areas according to 6S principlesIdentifies gaps and may participate in process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles and toolsTeamwork and Collaboration:Proactively collaborate with peers in other shifts/functions to achieve daily targetsSupport the leaders to maintain and cultivate the organization's culture. Collaborate with the team and leaders to achieve departmental goalsCommunicates outside the department with manufacturing and associated organizations. Performs other duties as assignedEducation/Experience:High School Diploma/GED required1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in a GMP environment1 year of experience operating power industrial vehiclesKnowledge Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous ImprovementAbility to read, write and comprehend EnglishStrong communication skills - written and verbalAbility to be flexible and agile in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and high-volume environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to use PC-based applications and general data entry skillsPrevious experience with ERP systems; SAP preferredAbility to work with cross-functional teamsSelf-motivatedAbility to have prompt, regular and reliable worksite attendancePhysical conditions and PPE requirements:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an individual to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
