Job Posting: Technical Business AnalystLocation: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)Duration: 12-Month ContractOverviewCornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Data-Driven Technical Business Analyst to support operational and strategy teams through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. This role is ideal for someone who goes beyond traditional requirements gathering and takes ownership of reporting outputs, data validation, and delivering actionable insights that drive business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate business needs into technical reporting specifications (metrics, dimensions, filters, calculations)Develop, maintain, and validate recurring and ad hoc reportsAnalyze data to identify trends, variances, and performance insightsPartner with stakeholders to support data-driven decision makingTroubleshoot and resolve data quality and reporting issuesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and automationEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputsServe as a liaison between business teams and data/technical teamsRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with SQL (query writing and optimization)Hands-on experience with reporting tools (Cognos preferred)Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sourcesProficiency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong background in data validation and troubleshootingAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and support forecasting decisionsExperience translating business requirements into technical solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with SASFamiliarity with Power BI or TableauExperience in collections, recovery, financial data, or performance-driven environmentsExposure to report automation and process improvement initiativesWhat We’re Looking ForStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsProven ability to work in data-driven, fast-paced environmentsWork EnvironmentHybrid schedule (4 days onsite in Fort Worth, TX)Business casual environment
