Provides excellent professional customer service to the Contract Client. This maintenance facility operates Monday-Friday 7am – 5pm, with minimal call-out or emergency operations.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nDemonstrates and promotes a “Safety First” lifestyle at the location.\nAssist with hiring, coaching, safety training and counseling.\nSupervise and monitor technician performance and initiates appropriate disciplinary action in a manner consistent with company/location policy.\nEnsures that all mechanics have the proper licenses and certifications.\nOversees repairs, preventive maintenance, and servicing of client assets.\nResponsible for support services including heavy overhauls, electronic and light body repairs.\nSupervises and inspects major repairs and provide technical assistance to technicians.\nResponsible for directing the work of all technicians including the development of work orders and the evaluation of all repairs performed by both the technicians and outside vendors.\nAdvises General Manager of individual situations that require further attention.\nResponsible for DOT compliance\nOther duties to ensure the efficient operation of the maintenance facility.\nRequirements:\nHigh School diploma required; some college preferred.\nMust have 3+ years of supervisory experience in a safety sensitive environment.\nMust have 3+ years' experience in automotive/diesel vehicle repair industry.\nMust be available for emergencies, including weather, civil disturbances, etc.\nASE certifications are required within one year of hire.\nMust be a team player\nMust be able to demonstrate poise, tact, diplomacy and possess good judgment and discretion.\nDetail oriented, well organized, and possess effective time management skills.\nGeneral knowledge of Windows-based computer operating system and Microsoft office package.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by the employee to successful perform the essential functions of this job.
