Central to this role is cultivating a network of micro and mid-tier creators who are first and foremost Prose community members: real people who genuinely love the brand and whose voices carry influence within their circles. This is not a traditional influencer marketing role. You will focus on building lasting relationships and brand belonging rather than managing content pipelines or paid media activations. You'll partner closely with Brand, Growth, Social, PR and Retention teams to ensure community and partnership efforts deepen brand affinity and support long-term customer loyalty.The ideal candidate understands the meaningful difference between an influencer program and a community-led advocacy strategy. You know how to identify and nurture the right people — engaged, authentic voices whose audiences mirror who Prose is for — and turn those relationships into a self-sustaining ecosystem of brand love. You bring experience from a consumer brand in beauty, wellness, tech or lifestyle and are energized by connection-building at every scale, from a 5,000-follower haircare devotee to a wellness creator with a deeply engaged, trust-driven following.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and evolve Prose's brand advocacy strategy across owned channels, loyalty touchpoints, ambassador programs, and advocacy initiativesBuild and manage a micro and mid-tier creator community rooted in genuine brand affinity — prioritizing long-term relationships and authentic advocacyDevelop clear criteria and a scalable process for identifying, onboarding, and nurturing community creators and brand advocates leveraging tools and AI sourcesPlan, manage, and execute brand experiences end-to-end — from intimate community gatherings and activations to larger-scale brand moments and industry eventsIdentify, negotiate, and manage brand partnerships and co-marketing collaborations that drive awareness and affinity with target audiencesPartner with Brand, PR and Social teams to amplify authentic community content and advocacy moments across owned and earned channelsLeverage internal tools such as CreatorIQ, Nectar Social, etc. to track, analyze, and report on the health and performance of community initiatives, events, and partnerships — translating qualitative signals and quantitative data into actionable insightsManage event and partnership budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics with precision and attention to detailServe as a brand ambassador externally, representing Prose at industry events and in partner conversationsKey Qualifications5+ years of experience in community/influencer management, brand advocacy, partnerships, or experiential marketing — ideally at a consumer brandExperience in beauty, wellness, personal care, or a premium DTC/subscription brand strongly preferredA clear point of view on the distinction between community-driven advocacy and traditional influencer marketing, with experience building or scaling the formerProven track record of developing authentic creator and advocate relationships, not just managing content deliverablesExperience planning and executing brand events and experiences from concept through completionStrong negotiation and relationship management skills with experience handling partner contracts and budgetsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple work streams, relationships, and deadlines simultaneouslyData-informed approach to measuring community health, engagement quality, and partnership impact — beyond vanity metricsExperience/ability to leverage AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT in order to inform strategiesPassion for hair, beauty, or wellness and a genuine enthusiasm for building brand communitiesPerks & BenefitsProse fosters inclusivity, learning, and diversity within our teams and workplace. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills. This role will be a hybrid position based out of our Williamsburg office and the expectation is that this person will be in the office 3 days per week.
