The successful candidate will be focusing on the development, deployment, and administration of complex systems using C++ or Python, Kubernetes, and GPU technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our satellite communication systems, from development to deployment, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets user requirements.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTwenty (20) years of experience as a SWE is required.\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required\nDesired Skills:\nKubernetes cluster design, deployment, and lifecycle management\nSpecifically Rancher, RKE2 implementation\nControle plane component configuration and troubleshooting\nWorker node management, configuration, and lifecycle automation\nWorkload management (scheduling, affinity, resources, scaling)\nHigh availability cluster configuration\nCluster monitoring\nCluster networking\nCluster storage (storage classes, PVC, PC) and integration with external storage systems\nKubernetes security concepts and implementation (RBAC, service accounts, secrets, certificate management, policy engines)\nHelm Familiarity\nCKA certification is a plus\nKubernetes application development/deployment principles\nCNCF projects/tools\nDevOps principles\nGitOps/Builds/Pipelines\nNetworking experience (Switching, routing, VLANs)\nAdvanced Linux Experience (RHEL/Rocky/EL9)\nOperating system configuration and troubleshooting\nService management\nHardening\nPXE boot and automated OS deployment\nAnsible experience\nPlaybook design\nRole development\nAnsible collection creation and management\nDevelopment and Scripting\nPython familiarity\nBash scripting experience\nGo\nYAML and JSON manipulation\nGit workflows\nKnowledge/experience with software unit testing\nCross-functional team collaboration\nStakeholder communication and requirements gathering\nPresenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences\nRF data processing familiarity\nRF application development familiarity\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
