The ideal candidate is an experienced Agile facilitator who can lead team ceremonies, remove impediments, improve delivery performance, and maintain strong communication among product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams while also contributing production-quality code. The successful candidate will help the team plan and execute work predictably, mature its Agile practices, manage risks and dependencies, and contribute directly to application development, testing, integration, and technical problem-solving when needed.\nResponsibilities\nScrum Master & Agile Delivery Leadership (70%)\nServe as the Scrum Master and primary Agile facilitator for one or more software development teams.\nPlan and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.\nPartner with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is prioritized, refined, estimated, and ready for upcoming sprints.\nCoach team members and stakeholders on Scrum principles, Agile values, self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nIdentify, track, escalate, and help remove impediments that affect team productivity, quality, or delivery commitments.\nMonitor sprint progress, delivery risks, dependencies, capacity, and commitments using Agile planning and tracking tools.\nDevelop and communicate delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown, burnup, cycle time, throughput, predictability, and defect trends.\nFacilitate cross-team coordination and dependency management among engineering, product, security, infrastructure, operations, and customer stakeholders.\nPromote realistic sprint commitments and protect the team from unplanned work, conflicting priorities, and unnecessary disruption.\nSupport release planning, roadmap execution, milestone tracking, and status reporting for technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate Agile project documentation, action items, risks, decisions, and team working agreements.\nLead retrospectives that produce measurable improvement actions and follow through on agreed changes.\nHelp establish and maintain definitions of ready and done, acceptance criteria, quality standards, and sustainable delivery practices.\nSupport compliance, security, documentation, and governance requirements without compromising Agile delivery principles.\nSoftware Development & Technical Contribution (30%)\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications, APIs, microservices, automation scripts, and backend services.\nContribute to sprint work by completing development tasks, resolving defects, and supporting technical spikes or proofs of concept.\nDevelop scalable and maintainable software using modern programming languages, frameworks, and secure coding practices.\nCreate and consume RESTful APIs and support integration with internal systems, cloud services, databases, and third-party platforms.\nWrite unit, integration, and automated tests and participate in peer code reviews to maintain software quality.\nTroubleshoot application, integration, and production issues across software and infrastructure layers.\nParticipate in application modernization, refactoring, technical debt reduction, and performance improvement initiatives.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, automated deployments, and DevSecOps practices.\nCollaborate with architects, engineers, testers, cybersecurity personnel, and operations teams throughout the software lifecycle.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of combined experience supporting Agile software delivery, software development, technical project execution, or related functions.\n2+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Team Lead, Technical Lead, or similar delivery-focused role.\nHands-on software development experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Go, or PHP.\nDemonstrated experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile principles and practices.\nExperience with Agile lifecycle and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, GitHub, GitLab, or similar platforms.\nExperience developing or integrating REST APIs, service-based applications, or modern web applications.\nUnderstanding of source control, CI/CD, automated testing, code review, and modern software development practices.\nStrong communication, facilitation, conflict-resolution, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to balance delivery leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical contributions based on team priorities.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional, and mission-focused environments.\nDesired Qualifications\nCertified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or comparable Agile certification.\nExperience supporting multiple Agile teams, scaled Agile programs, or complex cross-team dependencies.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with containerization, microservices, event-driven architectures, or cloud-native application development.\nExperience using delivery metrics and data to improve team predictability, quality, flow, and stakeholder transparency.\nExperience supporting government, defense, intelligence community, or other regulated environments.\nFamiliarity with secure software development, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, RMF, or Authority to Operate processes.\nExperience supporting mission-critical,
