You'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients while coordinating cross-functional teams across Instructional Design, Creative, Development, Quality Assurance, and Learning Strategy to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest level of quality.\nThis is an individual contributor role and does not include direct people management responsibilities.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Production Manager, you'll oversee the successful delivery of learning and development projects while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle. You'll manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and communication while ensuring work progresses efficiently from project kickoff through completion.\nThis role also supports ELB Learning's public sector engagements, requiring experience managing projects within federal, state, local government, and education environments, while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, reporting standards, and delivery milestones.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngagement Delivery\nLead client engagements from kickoff through closeout or ongoing managed-service delivery.\nAdapt ELB Learning's production methodology to fit each engagement.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation within Planview.\nMonitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed.\nManage scope changes and facilitate change management processes.\nClient Relationship Management\nServe as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients.\nLead kickoff meetings, status calls, milestone reviews, and project communications.\nBuild trusted client relationships through proactive communication.\nManage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nCoordinate Instructional Design, Creative, Development, Quality Assurance, and Learning Strategy teams.\nEnsure work flows efficiently across departments.\nIdentify and remove project roadblocks.\nEscalate risks and issues when appropriate.\nFinancial Management\nMonitor project budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization.\nIdentify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.\nDeliver projects within approved scope, schedule, and budget.\nRisk & Quality Management\nIdentify and manage project risks.\nDevelop mitigation strategies and track issue resolution.\nEnsure all required ID, Creative, Development, and QA reviews are completed before client delivery.\nPublic Sector Program Management\nManage delivery of federal, state, local government, and education contracts.\nBuild and maintain integrated project schedules, Gantt charts, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.\nPrepare monthly status reports and other contract deliverables.\nTrack project funding and budget utilization.\nSupport contract modifications and scope changes.\nLead customer status meetings and technical reviews with government stakeholders.\nConduct onsite visits to government and military installations as required.\nMaintain project documentation that meets audit and compliance requirements.\nProcess Improvement\nMaintain accurate project documentation and reporting.\nLead project retrospectives and wrap-up meetings.\nRecommend and implement continuous process improvements.\nSupport consistent application of ELB Learning's production management standards.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Education, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).\nProven experience managing projects or production within the learning and development industry.\nWorking knowledge of instructional design principles and eLearning production workflows.\nStrong organizational and project management skills.\nExperience using project management software and collaboration tools.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nFamiliarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.\nPublic Sector Qualifications\n3+ years managing projects under U.S. Government contracts as either a prime contractor or subcontractor.\nExperience producing recurring government deliverables, including monthly status reports, integrated schedules, and executive briefings.\nProficiency using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar scheduling tools to develop and maintain Gantt charts.\nU.S. Citizenship with the ability to successfully pass a federal background investigation.\nAbility to travel approximately 25%, including visits to customer sites and military installations.\nPreferred Qualifications\nLocated in Texas, New Mexico, or Oklahoma.
